The Event

Arena Futures is the new branch of Arena that makes it easier for younger people and those new to the industry to build connections, develop and grow before, or alongside joining our much-loved main Arena events.

Our first event is themed ‘connect’ and is geared at helping people network among their peers and taking away top tips on how to make connections throughout their career.

Starting at 6.30pm, the event gives attendees the chance to finish a day’s work and come along for evening drinks and nibbles, on-trend vegan style.

We all know life can be about who you know, not what you know, but do we really all know how to make connections that set us up for life?

Andrew Allen is a well-networked young entrepreneur, with multiple business interests and connections across the industry. His ‘Vegan AF’ Biff’s kitchen brand supplies all the food for BrewDog Dalston and attendees will be able to try his famous vegan burgers and wings and hear how Andrew developed the brand and made connections along the way.

James Brown is also an experienced business director who has taken BrewDog’s bars into a new generation with a range of vegan menus alongside the famous UK-brewed beers. James has progressed quickly through his career, making connections across the foodservice industry. Come and listen to him speak and take part in the Q&A to find out more.

Why attend?

Arena Futures will give attendees the opportunity to connect, develop and grow within the hospitality industry. This inaugural event is designed to help people make connections with peers, so that future networking events become easier when you know a familiar face.

BrewDog Dalston is an on-trend bar with an entirely vegan food menu, including Wings, Burgers and Fries. Attendees will receive all food and their first beer free, with subsequent wines and soft drinks also provided courtesy of our sponsors.

Here’s a taster of what this event will give you:

  • Become a founding attendee of Arena Futures, before events sell out
  • Take advantage of the affordable, discounted tickets*, making Arena more accessible to all
  • Make connections across the foodservice industry, with like-minded people
  • Attend future Arena events alongside familiar faces, where you can mix with senior people from companies you’ll recognise
  • Hear from headline speakers Andrew Allen and James Brown, about their careers in foodservice with top tips to help you with yours
  • Indulge in Vegan food and try the famous BrewDog beers
  • Meet our committee members from across the contract catering, hotels, wholesale and supplier sectors
  • Take part in our networking activities for an enjoyable evening out.

Companies funding the cost of tickets will demonstrate an investment in their people to connect, develop and grow within the foodservice industry. Arena Futures supports the hospitality colleagues of the future; the next CEO or head chef of your business or establishment. These events will have an educational element as well as facilitating networking, which will help colleagues grow in confidence and to make connections that will help their careers for the future.

Tickets* will sell fast, with only 65 available – so don’t delay and get yours today!
