Racing with Arena and Bryan Adams!

The spectacular Sandown Park Racecourse played host to this year’s ‘Racing with Arena’ event. And, Canadian rock legend, Bryan Adams, whipped up the crowds with a fantastic show featuring his well-known catalogue of big hits, including Summer of 69, Heaven, Run to You, and I Do It for You – to name just a few!

From the balcony of the corporate hospitality suite, attendees enjoyed stunning views across London and were well positioned to watch the horses as they crossed the finish line – often nail-bitingly close. The informal atmosphere and thrill of the races enabled guests representing operators, suppliers and media, to interact easily and enjoy a fantastic evening in great company.

The evening began with a drinks reception on the balcony where guests mingled whilst taking in the views and the glorious sunshine, and discussing the all-important racing tips. Over dinner, conversation flowed and the racing got underway. Races may have been won and lost, but the attendees certainly got behind their jockeys as they enthusiastically cheered them across the finish lines, with every success excitedly celebrated.

As the sky glowed orange thanks to a beautiful sunset, Bryan Adams filled the air with the distinct sound of his raspy voice and his successful rock hits.  The entertainment was enjoyed from both the balcony and ground level, where the ten-thousand-strong crowd rocked into the night.

Summing up the event, Janis Sargent, national business development controller at Pritchitts said to Arena’s director, Lorraine Wood: “We love this event, please don’t stop doing it!”
