Alex Reilley, managing director and co-founder of the fast-growing café, bar and restaurant group Loungers, will update and inspire guests at the Arena Summer Event 2014.
Often described as an entrepreneur in the casual dining market, Alex co-founded Loungers, which operates the ‘Lounge’ neighbourhood café/bar and the bar/restaurant brand The Cosy Club, in 2002
with long-term friends Jake Bishop and Dave Reid, with striking success.
From the very first ten-table ‘Lounge’ operation in Bristol, the brand grew steadily and organically in the years that followed. 2010 marked a significant step up in the roll-out and also saw the successful launch of The Cosy Club. Loungers currently boasts 45 sites with a combined turnover in excess of £40 million. With impressive plans for further expansion, the business is on track to open 15 more sites in 2014, with the goal of reaching 90 sites by 2017.
The learning and networking event will also include an informative insight and analysis session, courtesy of Peter Martin, Vice President, CGA Peach. Complementing Alex Reilley’s themes, Peter will share the latest findings and thinking from the casual dining and restaurant sector.
Thanks to the great combination of knowledge, insight and inspiration delivered by the Arena Summer Event plus a superb drinks reception and three course lunch with wine, it is always incredibly popular.
