Women 1st Shine Awards 2013 – what a shortlist!

When looking through the short list for the Women 1st Shine Awards 2013, it's fantastic to see that so many Arena members feature in the impressive list.
I congratulate all the incredible women who have been shortlisted and recognised for their outstanding achievements and contributions in the hospitality and tourism industries – but an extra-special congratulations goes to our members.
These include Julie Moore, managing director of Green Gourmet, Michele Moore, head of people development at Elior UK, and Margot Slattery, managing director Ireland and Northern Ireland, Sodexo, who are up for Woman of the Year; Laura Davis, sales manager at Smart Hospitality, who has been recognised as a Rising Star; and Tracey Rogers, managing director at Unilever Food Solutions who is shortlisted in the Mentor of the Year category.
I wish them all the very best of luck for the Awards Dinner on Wednesday 19 June.
