‘Pub sector: The changing landscape’ with Jonathon Swaine, Managing Director, Fuller's Inns, the exciting new event from Arena, debuts Tuesday 6 September. The event will consider the vibrant pub sector, it’s evolution, and the current challenges and opportunities. Employing and retaining the right people is an industry-wide issue and in his post-lunch speech, Jonathon Swaine will give valuable insight on recruiting engaged and enthusiastic frontline team members from the perspective of Fuller’s Inns and the pub market.

Jonathan will discuss how Fuller’s transformed its recruitment to get the best people in a way that makes sense for today’s busy pub manager, addressing questions such as: How do you inspire people to join your team on the bottom rung? Peter Backman from Horizons will also present a twenty year ‘Tour d’horizon’ of the pub sector. He will look especially at the role that food has played in the development of the pub over the years with some thoughts on the changes that the future might hold.
