Martin Robinson proves a popular choice for the Arena Savoy Lecture

By Berenice, Thursday 5 February 2015

We’ve had a fantastic response to the announcement that Martin Robinson, Chairman, Center Parcs UK, will be speaking at the Arena Savoy Lecture 2015 on Monday 23 March 2015. He is proving to be a popular choice.

Addressing leaders and professionals from across the hospitality, foodservice and leisure, travel and tourism industries, he will share the Center Parcs story and also look at topical and current industry issues and trends going forward.

Martin is more than qualified to uphold the Arena Savoy Lecture’s reputation of featuring strong, successful and influential industry leaders.  As Chairman of Center Parcs UK since 1999, Martin has successfully and profitably led and shaped the business.  His positive impact was also felt at Center Parcs Europe, where he was CEO and Chairman from 1996 until its sale in 2004.  Putting this in numbers, his leadership of Center Parcs Europe enabled substantial EBITDA growth from £85m to £150m, and for Center Parcs UK he has realised an impressive EBITDA growth from £36m to £147m.
