An exclusive panel discussion that will consider the impact of Brexit on the foodservice and hospitality industry, will kick start the day of valuable insight, opinion and inspiration. Chaired by James Bielby, the CEO of the Federation of Wholesale Distributors, panelists include: Ufi Ibrahim, CEO, British Hospitality Association; Ian Wright CBE, Director General, Food & Drink Federation; Phil Sermon, MD, Vapiano; and Ranjit Mathrani, Chairman, MW Eat.

Headlining the Arena Face2Face interview, Dennis Hogan, the managing director of Compass Group UK & Ireland, will talk openly about his business and the wider industry with ITN’s Alastair Stewart.

In addition to topics such as delivering sustainable growth, becoming an employer of choice, and driving innovation, Dennis will talk about passion for food.  It sounds obvious doesn’t it, a food service business putting food first? But often in the myriad of client requirements and increasingly, with the bundling of services in some market sectors, food can play second fiddle. Dennis Hogan will discuss how Compass has ensured that its passion for food remains central to its ethos.  Food is part of Compass Group’s heritage and by putting its chefs are at the forefront of the business, investing in its culinary talent, and making sure its procurement teams, suppliers and chefs work side by side, Dennis explains how food will remain at the very core of Compass.

The popular event also features a champagne drinks reception and a sumptuous three-course lunch, allowing plenty of opportunity for beneficial interaction with foodservice and hospitality colleagues throughout.
