Following the launch of Ask Arena last week and our first successful get-together focusing on managing your finances during Covid-19, we are pleased to announce our second get-together will take place at 4pm on Thursday 16 April 2020 and we are delighted to have as our speaker, Sebastian Calnan, Senior Consultant, EMW Law LLP.
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to cause major disruption to businesses right across the food supply chain, Ask Arena has been launched to support you, our members and your business whilst at the same time raising vital funds our industry charities Hospitality Action and Springboard.
The aim of the events are to bring our members together in a virtual setting and give you valuable advice and solutions from experts during the coronavirus pandemic and bring the outside in. We have teamed up with one of our members, William Murray and 23 Digital to bring these events to you and to give simple, honest and practical advice to help you.

In true Arena style, this week’s event will not only feature our keynote speaker and audience Q&A but there will also be drinks and networking!
Right now, many companies are trying to navigate and understand their legal obligations so the second Ask Arena will focus on the legal issues affecting the supply chain.
Sebastian is a member of the Food and Drink Sector with EMW Law LLP, having previously been the in-house legal adviser at Bidfood. He also advises on procurement, goods and services agreements, supply chain issues, competition law and regulatory issues with particular expertise in the food industry. EMW are members of Arena and the Food Law Group in London.
To join us at 4pm on Thursday 16 April 2020, please email Lorraine Wood at lorraine@arena.org.uk or telephone Lorraine on 07803 853618 . The event is free for Arena members to join – all we ask is that you make a small donation to Hospitality Action Covid-19 Emergency Appeal or Springboard’s Urgent Appeal.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday.
