Arena's next event takes place on Monday 30 September 2019 at the stunning Haberdasher's Hall in London and explores the importance of brand reputation in an ever-competitive market.

Who should attend and Why?

We have an action-packed educational and inspirational day that is ideal for anyone working in the foodservice and hospitality industry either as a supplier or an operator.  The exciting programme of speakers will provide you with insight and understanding on how companies are pushing the boundaries and disrupting the market to gain the crucial competitive edge to deliver growth, whilst at the same time protecting their company and brand.  You will also learn about the importance of reputation management and how do brands recover their reputation if their brand is damaged.

The Speakers

An inspiring line-up of speakers will explore this topic and discuss the following:

The Power of Delivery:  Andre Johnstone, Business Development Director, Wagamama

Andre will reveal how Wagamama is pushing boundaries with new delivery initiatives.  He will also give a sneak preview of their new Grab and Go concept!

Leveraging simple technology to transform profitability:  Paul Whyte, Managing Director, Best Food Logistics

Paul will give an insight into how he transformed the heavily loss-making Bidvest Logistics into Best Food Logistics; an instantly recognisable, service-led brand that is profitable and poised for growth.

When the going gets tough – Brand Recovery:  Mark McCulloch, Founder Supersonic Inc

Mark is one of the leading food, drink and hospitality brand and marketing minds in the world. Using real hospitality examples, he’ll share his vast expertise and knowledge, focusing on how brands recover after a disaster.

Protecting brand reputation at the ‘shop floor’:  Malcolm Muir, Director of Consultancy, Venners

Malcolm will discuss how getting strong central systems in place will protect the brand on the front line.  Drawing on real-life examples, he'll show what can go wrong, how reputational damage can be limited and repaired if it does and some simple steps to prevent things going that far.

Keeping up brand momentum: Fiona Speakman, Client Director of Food, CGA

Utilising CGA’s unique data as well as the Brand Momentum report produced in conjunction with Stone & River, Fiona will explore which brands are remaining relevant in a saturated market

What else is included?

The day also includes a fabulous drinks and canape reception, three-course lunch with wine and will give you the opportunity to interact with leading hospitality and foodservice professionals to build long-term mutually-beneficial business relationships.  As with all Arena events, you will also be able to view the guest list prior to the event and take advantage of the opportunity to request introductions on the day.
