Less than two weeks to go to Arena’s Christmas Event

In less than two weeks, the Arena Christmas Event returns to the magnificent Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park – the first event to grace the newly refurbished ballroom since it reopened. The day of insight, education and inspiration will start with an exclusive industry insight session. Industry commentator, Peter Backman, will present a special briefing that explores the high street’s influence and looks at what the future may hold for the foodservice and hospitality industry.
Peter will be joined in conversation by two industry innovators and leaders to consider the challenges facing the sector, how to overcome them and the opportunities; including the role of technology, empowered workforces, charismatic leadership and disruption.

Rob Liddiard - Rob is Co-founder and CEO of Yapster, the mobile messaging app for hospitality teams, where he leads on commercial strategy and oversees all sales and marketing activity. He is also the main external representative and spokesperson for Yapster and has presented at numerous industry events and written articles for leading HR and retail publications.
Klaus Goeldenbot – Klaus is Group Chief Executive of Nisbets PLC, a rapidly growing international multi-channel business for catering equipment and market leader in the UK. Throughout his career Klaus has been a champion for a people-focused strategy, a keen supporter of e-commerce and innovation, and strong believer in delivering a great customer experience.
Celebrated chef Michael Caines MBE is the headline speaker at the popular event. After a mouth-watering three-course lunch, he will talk about his successful career, his journey with Lympstone Manor and the planting of the vineyard, his plans and aspirations, and his thoughts on the key issues affecting the industry.
Starting at 10.30am the Arena Christmas Event includes educational, engaging and inspiring speakers, valuable opportunities to interact with industry peers and the exceptional hospitality of the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park during the drinks reception and three-course lunch.
